1) Recommended image (or ROI) size is from 1 to 3 Mega Pixels with proportions near to 4:3, 16:9, 1:1
2) Under the hood, every image is preprocessed and resized to 640x640 (keeping proportions) before the AI ALPR pipeline, so, selecting ROI for high resolution images is a good and recommended practice.
3) Try different ROI variants and proportions for your exact use case. Recommended ROI should be at least 10%-15% larger than average vehicle size in the frame.
4) Demo is hosted on 5$ VPS with 1 (Single) Intel 2.8 Ghz Core, 1G RAM.
